The AccuTec 10/22® Barrel Pusher is designed to easily remove factory and aftermarket barrels from the receivers of Ruger® 10/22® rifles.
The 10/22® Barrel Pusher works with all available calibers including 17HMR, 17HM2, 22LR and 22WMR. The tool removes the tightest barrel with no exertion and with no danger of marring or scratching the receiver. Any mounted scope or other optic may remain in place. The Barrel Pusher allows easy barrel removal anywhere in your home or apartment without the need of a bench-mounted vice.
Installation on a field stripped receiver literally takes seconds.
It appears to only be available at Brownells at this time.

It is easy to make the bolt stop on the 10/22 hold the bolt back, but it is a pain to make it let the bolt go forward again. This simple fix will make it much easier to release the bolt, just tug back and let it go!

Lightweight, aluminum replacement for factory barrel gives you the advantages of a short barrel, while the permanently attached muzzle shroud keeps the barrel length legal—no NFA transfer paperwork to worry about. Your flash suppressor with standard ½”-28 threads actually screws to the barrel inside the shroud, so it adds nothing to the barrel’s 16½” overall length. Machined from billet aluminum, with a .920″ O.D. and a chrome-moly steel bore liner to provide the rigidity and heat-transfer benefits of a bull barrel without the weight penalty. Oversized shank helps ensure a secure fit to almost any 10/22 receiver.

You need to lay your Ruger 10/22 on some sort of mat to protect the rifle while service it, so why not use a mat that’s also an exploded view and parts list.
